The PCRC Investigator Development Center (IDC) focuses on offering practical guidance and strategies to investigators on their career and study development through the use of mentorship, training, didactics, and palliative care research intensives.
IDC Webinar Series:
The Investigator Development Center also offers a monthly webinar series focused on key palliative care research topics. Click here to see the schedule of upcoming webinars and to watch or download slides from previous sessions.
Palliative Care Intensives in Clinical Trials:
These three-day intensives seek to provide a foundation in practical aspects involving the conduct of randomized clinical trials in palliative care. They are designed for early career researchers or other mid-career researchers and health professionals interested in developing competence in the planning, design, and execution of randomized clinical trials. Instruction will include a combination of focused lectures, demonstrations, individual and group consultations with experts in the field, and small group work.

PCRC Special Interest Groups:
The Investigator Development Center is organizing Special Interest Groups (SIGs) to link PCRC investigators who are interested in collaborating around palliative care research topics. The goal is to connect researchers with similar interests to create communities for collaborating and networking, problem-solving, and sharing resources. PCRC members can click here to sign up for SIGs of interest. We host the SIGs via Google groups. SIGs are currently for PCRC members only.
